The Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share the written responses from the four candidates running for Colonial Beach Town Council.
During the recent Colonial Beach Town Council Candidate Forum, residents and community members submitted a number of questions for the candidates. Due to the time available during the live forum, it was not possible to address every question that had been submitted.
To ensure that those questions were not lost, the Chamber provided the remaining Audience and Email Questions to all four candidates and invited each candidate to submit written responses.
Four Candidates, 15 Questions
The candidates were given the same questions and an opportunity to respond. The completed responses have now been compiled into one document and organized by question, rather than by candidate.
This format allows residents to easily review a question and then see how each candidate responded to that particular issue.
The responses are from:
- Will Nuckols
- Rebecca Stuart
- Jeff Eisensmith
- Bobby Duke
There is also one question that was directed specifically to Jeff Eisensmith. Because that question was not presented to the other candidates, it is identified separately in the document.
Why We Are Sharing the Responses
The purpose of providing these additional responses is to give Colonial Beach residents access to the questions that could not be addressed during the live forum and to provide each candidate with an equal opportunity to respond.
The Chamber encourages residents to review the complete responses and consider the candidates’ answers to the issues that matter to them.
These written responses are presented as submitted by the candidates. The Chamber has organized the material for readability but has not provided ratings, rankings, endorsements, or editorial evaluations of the candidates’ answers.
