Labor Day Arts & Crafts Festival

The 56th Annual Labor Day Arts and Crafts Festival is a vibrant two-day celebration of creativity and culture that takes place on the beautiful boardwalk of our historic Colonial Beach coastal town. The festival showcases a diverse array of fine arts, providing a platform for talented artists to exhibit their masterpieces and share their unique perspectives with the community.

Live Radio Broadcast

Adding to the festival’s dynamic atmosphere is the live radio broadcast by B101.5, a popular Fredericksburg radio station. Their presence brings live entertainment, music, and interviews, contributing to the festive spirit that permeates the event.

BAMM Silent Auction

An exciting highlight of the Arts and Crafts Festival is the silent auction, where attendees can bid on stunning artworks and other items generously contributed by the participating artists. This offers a chance for art enthusiasts to acquire one-of-a-kind pieces while also supporting the local arts community.

Boardwalk Crafters

As attendees stroll along the boardwalk, they are treated to the sight of skilled boardwalk crafters demonstrating their craftsmanship in real-time. The live art demonstrations add an interactive element, allowing visitors to witness the creative process up close and even engage with the artists to gain insights into their techniques and inspirations.

Children Activities

Families with young children will find an abundance of attractions to keep the little ones entertained. From playful activities and games to child-friendly workshops, the children’s attractions ensure that kids have a memorable and enjoyable time at the festival.

Food and Drink Vendors

No festival is complete without delightful culinary experiences. Local food vendors and restaurants serve up a delectable array of dishes and craft drinks, catering to various tastes and preferences.

Community Collaboration

This event is a collaboration between the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce, Colonial Beach Community Foundation, and BAMM (Beach, Art, Music, and Mentoring).
