The Catfish bite is on FIRE right now in the creeks and rivers, either from boat, off the bank or the Town Pier. Using our own KatFish Kandy, night crawlers, cut bunker or cut eel should do the trick!
White Perch are slowly showing up. They are being caught on bloodworms. Some nice size ones are being caught in crab pots so we are getting there with them showing up. They should pick up very soon.
Catch & Release Rock fishing is going well using Stick Jigs and Hopkin Spoons as well as casting Rattle Traps and Swim Baits.
Crappie bite is still going strong on live minnows and jigs.
Bass and Snakehead action is very productive using Snakehead Outlawz, Tailored Lures, Frogs and Spinner Baits in ponds and on the Rappahannock River.
Recreational Rockfish Season Opens On May 16 th in the main stem of the Potomac River !
