We’re excited to invite you to participate in an important event for our community: the Candidates Forum scheduled for September 26. This forum, held for over 15 years, aims to enhance voter understanding and engagement, providing an opportunity for residents to hear directly from those running for office.
This year, the forum is presented by the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the National Honor Society of Colonial Beach High School and supported by BAMM. It will take place in the gymnasium of Colonial Beach Elementary School.
The forum for Town Council candidates will begin at 6:30 PM and is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours, following the mayoral candidates’ forum that starts at 6 PM. For those who cannot attend in person, we are collaborating with WWER 88.1 to offer a remote listening option.
