Terry Fox

Terry Fox

Office Manager

Terry Fox was originally hired as our Event Coordinator in the Spring of 2021. She moved to Colonial Beach from Columbia, South Carolina in June, 2019 after retiring as a Program Manager, Office of Legal Education, Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys, Department of Justice. She graduated from La Plata High School and attended the University of South Carolina. As a child she also lived in the PA Allegheny mountains. Terry is an avid NASCAR fan and enjoys music, cooking, yoga, reading, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. When asked why she chose to live in Colonial Beach and work at the Chamber she answered, “I was skipping school the first time I was here and as an adult frequently rented cottages on the weekends with friends. I’ve always enjoyed my time here, needed to be closer to my Momma, have fantastic memories of this town, and thought it would be the perfect place to live. After settling in, I realized I needed to do something besides have fun, relax and sleep – so I applied for a part-time job, close to home, which would allow me to support this little beachy sunshine town that I love, justly named the Playground on the Potomac. My grandchildren, family and friends all love visiting now as well.”
